Unifying inspiration from community.
The UV is a community-rooted platform cultivating forward-thinking music, performance, and culture. Focused on the outer edges of sound and taste, we support experimental and underrepresented voices through curated events, artist residencies, and creative production spanning music, food, โzero zeroโ wine, and nightlife.
In 2019, we founded the Paradise Cultural Society: a not-for-profit that stewarded our physical spaces, Paradise and the Paradise Cultural Centre. Closing in April of this year, together they served as a home for collaboration, risk-taking, and new cultural possibilities in Vancouver (and beyond) for over 6 years.
We are based in Vancouver, Canada & New York City, and were co-founded by โ๏ธ DJ Express & ๐ KF in 2017.
